The facility offers the Becton Dickinson FACScan to analyze and quantify the characteristics of cells and particles in suspension as they stream in single file past a laser beam.
The sorting function enables the researcher to physically separate individual cells and particles from a mixed population. Viable cells can be recovered for further study or culture. The state of the art FACSAria is available for this function.
